“But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.”
— Ephesians 2:4–5 (NIV)
Grace changes everything.
Without it, freedom wouldn’t be ours. But because of God’s deep love, endless mercy, and unshakable goodness, we’ve been rescued. We’ve been made alive in Christ—brought from death to life. That’s what grace does.
Grace isn’t something we can earn. It’s not a reward for good behavior or a prize for perfection. Grace is a gift—free, undeserved, and overflowing from the heart of a Father who loves without limit.
“He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.”
— 2 Timothy 1:9 (NIV)
That means before you ever messed up, doubted, or wandered—grace was already waiting for you.
God’s grace covers everything. Every sin. Every moment. Every day. It covers the shame we carry and the mistakes we’ve made. It meets us in our weakness and lifts us into new life.
So today, pause and remember the beauty of grace. Think about the moments when God met you in your lowest place and lifted you with His love. Remember who made that possible—Jesus.
This Christmas, don’t keep the gift of grace to yourself.
Share it. Tell someone about the One who came to bring hope, healing, and eternal life. Let them know that grace is for them too—right here, right now, and every single day of the year.
God loves every person on our earth more than we can imagine, but not everyone knows it. Let’s pray for our neighbours, friends, colleagues and family that they may know the love and grace of Jesus.
May this Christmas reveal the grace of God in everything we do.
