This privacy notice explains how your personal data will be collected, used, and protected
in connection with our WhatsApp community, Facebook group, and Microsoft Teams
webinars.
1. Data Controller
CBN UK is the data controller responsible for processing your personal data in accordance

2. Purpose of Processing and Communication Channels
The Founders Club uses WhatsApp, Facebook, and Microsoft Teams to engage with
members through updates, discussions, and interactive webinars:
• WhatsApp Community: Used for announcements and updates. Members can
comment or react to admin posts, and their phone numbers will be visible to
other members.
• Facebook Group: Used for sharing posts, updates, and discussions. Depending on
group settings, members can comment and react to posts.
• Microsoft Teams Webinars: Used for organizational updates and interactive
presentations. Registration is required, and webinars may be recorded and shared
with other Founders Club members.
3. Personal Data We Process
WhatsApp Group:
• Phone Number (visible to members)
• WhatsApp Display Name (visible to members)Facebook Group:
• Facebook Profile Name and Picture (visible to members)
• Group Interactions (comments, reactions, or posts)
Microsoft Teams Webinars:
• Name and Email Address (for registration, invitations, and follow-ups)
• Webinar Participation Data (questions, comments, poll responses)
• Webinar Recordings (shared with members for educational purposes)
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR (Legitimate Interests). We have
conducted a Legitimate Interests Assessment (LIA) and determined that processing your
personal data for engagement and communication is necessary to fulfill the objectives of
the Founders Club. Safeguards are in place to protect your rights and privacy.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (see Section 8). If
you object, we will assess whether we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue
processing or if we need to stop.
5. How Your Data Will Be Used
Your personal data will be used exclusively for the following:
• WhatsApp: Sending admin announcements and updates.
• Facebook: Posting updates and facilitating discussions.
• Microsoft Teams: Registering participants, sending invitations, providing follow-up
materials, enabling webinar interaction, and sharing recordings.
Your data will not be used for unrelated purposes.
6. Data Security Measures
We implement the following safeguards:• WhatsApp: End-to-end encryption and restricted admin access.
• Facebook: Private group membership, limited to approved participants.
• Microsoft Teams: GDPR-compliant platform with encrypted storage and access
controls.
Third-Party Responsibility: While we take precautions to secure your data, we are not
responsible for the privacy practices of WhatsApp, Facebook, or Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams and other platforms may use cookies or tracking mechanisms to monitor
attendance and interaction analytics during webinars. By participating, you acknowledge

8. Your Rights Under GDPR
You have the following rights regarding your data:
1. Right to Access – Request a copy of your personal data.
2. Right to Rectification – Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data.
3. Right to Erasure – Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations).
4. Right to Restrict Processing – Request that we limit how your data is used.
5. Right to Data Portability – Request your data in a commonly used format.
6. Right to Object – Object to processing under legitimate interests.
7. Right Not to Be Subject to Automated Decision-Making – Ensure decisions
affecting you are not made solely by automated processes.
8. Right to Withdraw from Platforms – Leave groups or opt out of webinars at any
time (see Section 9).

• WhatsApp: Use the “Exit Group” option. To have your phone number removed from
our records, email us.
• Facebook: Use the “Leave Group” option. For further data removal, contact us.
• Microsoft Teams: Opt out of webinar communications by emailing
dataprotection@cbneurope.com.
Upon withdrawal, your data will be deleted unless legally required for record-keeping
purposes (e.g., financial records, legal claims).
10. Retention Period
Your data will be retained only while you are an active participant. Once you leave a
group or withdraw from a webinar, your personal data will be deleted or anonymized
unless legally required for compliance purposes.
11. Children’s Data
Our groups and webinars are not intended for individuals under 18. If you are under 18,
parental consent is required to participate. We may request parental verification via
email.
