It’s happening.
After years of dreaming, praying, and planning – the building of the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer has finally begun.
What once existed only in vision and faith is now becoming visible hope – a monumental declaration that Jesus answers prayer.
CBN UK’s Laura Boswell sat down with Richard Gamble, Founder of the Eternal Wall, to hear the latest on this extraordinary project.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
The construction journey ahead is as remarkable as the vision itself.
In Portugal, 188 intricate moulds will be created to form the stunning Mobius Strip design – a symbol of the eternal nature of prayer, crafted by architect Paul Bulkeley.
Meanwhile, the UK site is being prepared to receive these moulds, with the foundation work laying both a physical and spiritual base for what’s to come.
Once the segments arrive, assembly of the Mobius Strip is scheduled for 2027, with the full structure expected to stand completed in early 2028.
After that, the finishing touches – the visitor centre, drainage, and landscaping – will take shape, bringing the entire vision to life.
And now, after so many years of waiting, ground has officially been broken on 5th November 2025.
Every inch of the land has already been covered in prayer – a sacred preparation for what God is about to do.
Even with the best plans in place, there’s still a divine element of mystery.
As Richard often reflects, referencing the story of Noah:
“It all made sense when it rained.”
It’s a phrase that captures the heart of the Eternal Wall – a project that requires stepping out in faith, trusting that understanding will come in God’s perfect timing.
Throughout this journey, countless people have been drawn in – donors, experts, and supporters who seem to appear just when needed most. Over and over, God has orchestrated connections that could never have been planned by human hands.
“Impossibles” have become part of the team’s daily language. God alone is the One who can turn a seemingly impossible situation into a possible one.
For Richard, this project has been as much about personal transformation as it has been about construction.
He shares that God has been shaping his character through the process – teaching him that the journey matters just as much as the destination.
Richard considers it a privilege to experience more of God along the way, even if he admits that, during the most intense seasons, it doesn’t always feel like a privilege!
The hardest moments, he says, have often been when God asks him simply to wait.
Wait on the Lord.
You may not see development or progress, but you must “keep going and keep trusting.”
One of the most moving aspects of the Eternal Wall story is how God has confirmed His vision to people across the country – and even across the world.
Again and again, believers have received the same word, the same sense of purpose, the same calling to build something that testifies to His faithfulness.
The result? A living tapestry of faith, woven together by thousands of answered prayers – each one a spark that ignites new hope in others.
