A nationwide grassroots movement bringing Christmas carols and the life-changing message of the Gospel into public spaces across the UK and Ireland – this is Shine Your Light. 

From 12-14 December 2025, believers stepped out in faith this Christmas season to make Jesus known. Were you one of them? 

Across the country, churches, community groups, families, and individuals came together with one shared purpose: to boldly declare that Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season. From shopping centres and town halls to schools, universities, and street corners, the light of Christ shone brightly in everyday places. 

Shine Your Light carried a bold vision – to see 200,000 followers of Jesus take the message of hope to their streets and online. And the timing could not be more significant. Recent statistics point to a “Quiet Revival,” with church attendance reportedly quadrupling – from 4% to 16% of the population. God is clearly at work. 

Yet in the midst of busy lives, it can be easy for fear, uncertainty, or distraction to silence our witness. Shine Your Light – alongside many other organisations this Christmas – reminds us that now is the time to go public with our faith. Whether at home, at work, in schools, or on our streets, we are called to lovingly share Jesus with those who do not yet know Him.
