Thanks to the ongoing support of CBN, Sporting Marvels is taking the Gospel message into the schools of the Rhondda valley in South Wales.
Through classroom activities and sports lessons, the team are able to deliver faith-based content into schools in the region. Most of the schools are not faith-affiliated but have been very welcoming and open to all that is offered. Week by week, they get the opportunity to teach Bible stories, life lessons and morality to hundreds of pupils. This consistency helps to build relationships and opens conversations about faith.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

“We had the privilege of sharing the powerful story of the Crucifixion with over 800 children aged 9 to 10. Through an engaging lesson using Superbook, interactive storytelling, and thoughtful discussions, these young minds explored the depth of Jesus’ love and the significance of His sacrifice.”
They continued, “Our team was amazed by the children’s curiosity, insight, and the thoughtful questions they asked. It was truly moving to witness how deeply they connected with the message. For many, it was their first time hearing the full story – and their responses reminded us just how impactful these moments can be.”
This year, the team were working towards a Summer Bible Giveaway, with the aim of distributing over 850 copies to children this summer, and we cannot wait to tell you all about the impact soon!
The work of Sporting Marvels is a testament of consistently and tirelessly sowing into the lives of children in the Rhondda valley. The lives of these young people have been touched and changed. As the team, supported by CBN, keep on standing for and sharing the hope of salvation, we are reminded of the scripture in 1 Corinthians 3:6 that says, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”
Together, as we each do our part, God increases and is glorified.
