Rev 22:2

A Vision of Restoration and Hope

“On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
(Revelation 22:2, NIV)

It’s a breathtaking image – a river flowing through the heart of the New Jerusalem, flanked by trees that never wither, bearing fruit in every season. The Tree of Life reappears – not hidden in Eden this time but standing openly in God’s renewed creation. Its leaves bring healing, not just to individuals, but to the nations – a vision of restoration, unity, and peace that only God can bring.

For those who follow Jesus – who trust in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – this is the future we lean toward with hope-filled hearts: a new heaven and a new earth, where God Himself dwells among His people once more.

In that world, all that has caused pain and sorrow will be gone forever. As Scripture promises:

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
(Revelation 21:4)

The story that began in the Garden will find its glorious fulfilment – not in loss, but in restoration.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Bringing Heaven to Earth

But just because this is our glorious future doesn’t mean we retreat from the world around us. Far from it.

As followers of Jesus, we are called to pull Heaven down to Earth – to live as ambassadors of His Kingdom here and now. We long to see glimpses of His glory and the beauty of His creation revealed in our time, in our generation, today.

Our hearts burn not only to reach eternity ourselves, but to bring as many souls with us as possible. We pray, as Jesus taught us:

“Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
(Matthew 6:10)

That’s why we at CBN UK are so passionate – especially at this time of year – about reaching the lost for Jesus. Everything we do is driven by one eternal destination: salvation.

We use many vehicles to carry the Good News, but our goal remains the same – to see lives transformed by the love of Christ. Nothing we possess in this world will follow us into eternity; only our relationship with Jesus endures. It is our response to His life, death, and resurrection that determines where we will spend forever.

Reaching the Forgotten

One of the ways we live this out is through our efforts to place Bibles into the hands of prisoners across the UK. Behind those prison walls are men and women hungry for forgiveness, redemption, and purpose – and we believe that the Word of God can break even the strongest chains.

We do not do this out of pride or self-promotion, for salvation belongs to the Lord alone. But as those who have found truth and freedom in Jesus, we cannot keep it to ourselves. We are compelled by love to share the hope that has transformed our own lives.

Raising the Next Generation

Our mission doesn’t stop there. We also carry a deep passion for the next generation.

Children as young as three, four, and five are coming to know Jesus – and their innocent faith brings deep joy to our hearts! We long to see these young ones nurtured, discipled, and raised to know the Lord deeply and personally.

That’s why we developed Superbook Academya rich, engaging library of resources that helps families and churches grow the faith of the children entrusted to them. It’s one of the ways we’re investing in a future where the next generation knows and walks with God.

Reaching a Digital Generation

But our mission also extends to those growing up in an entirely new world – Generation Z. This is a generation that searches for truth online, on mobile phones, through AI, chat platforms, and even in virtual reality.

While technology like AI and ChatGPT can be tools for good, we know that no digital answer can fill the spiritual void that only Jesus can satisfy. That’s why one of our key focuses in our “1 Gift, 1 Life, 1 Million” end-of-year campaign is to reach a digital generation with the Gospel.

We dream of putting Christ-centred, hope-filled content in front of the eyes of young people searching for meaning – so they can encounter the One who loves them, guides them, and transforms their lives forever.

A Call to Hope

If your heart has been stirred by what you’ve read today – if you share our passion to reach children, young people, and prisoners with the hope of Jesus – we invite you to prayerfully consider supporting the work of CBN UK this Christmas.

But more importantly, if you’re reading this and you don’t yet know Jesus personally as your Lord and Saviour, please – don’t let this moment pass you by.

He loves you.
He is waiting for you.
His arms are wide open.

This could be the moment that changes not only your life – but your eternity.
